We have a vision of a Weld County free from the burdens of tobacco. The Tobacco Free Weld County Coalition has been in existence to carry out this vision for over 10 years. We are a group of community members on a mission.
Our mission is to empower the residents of Weld County to create a tobacco-free environment through education, prevention and a commitment to the health of the community.

Current members include doctors, dentists, police officers, students, teachers, retired volunteers, people of the Colorado Tobacco Education and Prevention Alliance (CTEPA), the State Tobacco Education and Prevention Partnership (STEPP), American Cancer Society (ACS), American Lung Association (ALA), American Heart Association (AHA), Group to Alleviate Smoking Pollution (GASP), Colorado Prevention Partners (CPP), United Way, Centennial BOCES, Hispanic Women of Weld County (HWWC), Catholic Charities, University of Northern Colorado and the Drug, Alcohol, and Tobacco Education Program (UNC DATE), Island Grove Treatment Center, Northrange Behavioral Center, the CSU Extension Office, Weld School Districts, service clubs including Kiwanis and Rotary, and other interested groups and individuals.
